Greenwich Water Club case study

April 12th, 2010 by Berit Griffin

The beautiful Greenwich Water Club offers the very best in waterfront recreation. Built in Cos Cob, Conn., on the banks of the Mianus River, the Greenwich Water Club is a unique four-season retreat.

It has a state-of-the-art rowing facility and a fitness center with a NCAA-sized pool. An inn, marina and restaurant let members enjoy more than just athletics at the Greenwich Water Club.

When members are looking out the windows at the water view, they’re looking through Integrity windows. Wood-Ultrex windows offer the dual advantage of a traditional-looking wood interior with the high-performance exterior of Ultrex. The real pine wood interiors, stop sash only simulated divided lites and factory white pre-finish help to give the club’s interior spaces their character. The exterior, made with Ultrex, was a perfect fit for coastal conditions.

The result is a low-maintenance New England colonial clubhouse that incorporates 21st century building products and techniques that provide members with a place where everyone can leave the worries of the world behind and enjoy the water.
