Integrity improves SDL option with spacer bars

January 13th, 2011 by John Kirchner

Now homeowners can combine the classic look of divided lites with the energy efficiency of double-paned glass. Integrity from Marvin Windows and Doors has added a new spacer bar option to its Wood-Ultrex Series.

The spacer bar gives the traditional appearance of authentic divided lites with modern energy efficiency. Simulated Divided Lite (SDL) bars are permanently adhered to both sides of the glass. A spacer bar is installed between the glass, creating the essence of authentic divided lites.

The spacer bar is currently available on products with LoĒ3-366® glazing. Spacer bars are available on all current SDL options/patterns with all currently available SDL cuts and configurations, including equal lite cuts. Integrity has many options that meet or exceed stringent federal ENERGY STAR standards.

And all Integrity Wood-Ultrex products feature a beautiful, real wood interior with an exterior of Ultrex® – our proprietary pultruded fiberglass that resists fading, cracking and chalking long after other exterior materials have given up.
